He looks so evil, I want to hug him. And give him my Mexican votes. Too bad we Mexicans can't vote in the United States.. yet!
:iconistarlome:
so you are a mexican living in italy. What brought you there?

thanks for looking at this and for the comment.

legal mexicans who become citizens of the u.s., can and do vote. they are very welcome to become everything they can be. illegal mexicans or any other illegal aliens should not have the right to vote here. you must want to be a u.s. american and be willing to die for your country to be a "real" nationalized alien.

would mexicans want u.s. citizens voting in your election?
:icongattinoalablu:
Hey, thanks for this totally nice reply! My idea of you has changed considerably.

I'm aware of the situation, and i know the politics behind it. That said, yeah, it would be totally silly to allow non citizens to vote, it'd be hard to draw the line. People will talk about the income and boost to the economy illegals are, but I don't care about those specifics. The bottom line is, they should be legally in the country to get all the other benefits of citizenship, but while Illegal they should have all the basic human rights. I know there have been a couple of Mexicans who enlisted in the army to 'give something back to the country' and ended up dying in Iraq, so i know the possibilities are there.

my best friend in the entire world was born in mexico and became a citizen. we grew up together and served in the us navy together.

there are many here doing good work and many just robbing from the us. it's sad that those doing harm overshadow the good. the way the world is today it's even more important that people coming here are coming for the right reasons.

we are a proud, strong, generous and tolerant people. we bend a lot but can't be pushed forever.
:icongattinoalablu:
woah woah, don't you think 'robbing' is too strong a word? afterall, illegal and all, they are paid. If these companies stopped hiring illegal workers, then all incentive to go there illegally would cease overnight. Of course the companies won't stop because they get quality work for very little money. It's kind of simple actually.

Now, if you meant street gangs and all that, yeah, it's sad those dudes exist and do crime, but that happens everywhere.
:iconistarlome:
i mean the street gangs.
:icongattinoalablu:
Yeah, those dudes suck. Along with the narcotic dealers in the border and all that =/
